In cultivating a ‘sense of chi’ you practice for it.
One way is to pull up with your hands from the ground with your breathe in sync. I like to create, with my breathe, the same ‘cone’ of energy we have in Zazen.
Another is to keep the fascia loose – this is just a stretching meditation. If you don’t want to do Yoga, do this at least and you will stay limber cat. Electricity runs through them fascia, keep em loose! Muscles too – never have a sore back. Aye neva
